Bio.

Mike Berg is a distinguished art director and production designer known for his work in film, commercial advertising, and music videos. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, his career spans critically acclaimed projects that showcase his ability to create immersive visual storytelling.

Berg has collaborated with renowned directors such as Neill Blomkamp (District 9), Roland Emmerich (10,000 BC), Andrew Niccol (Lord of War), and Peter Webber (Girl with a Pearl Earring), as well as the legendary actor and filmmaker John Malkovich. He has also worked with cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema (Interstellar, Dunkirk, Oppenheimer).

In film, Berg served as art director for District 9, which received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture. He was also supervising art director for 10,000 BC and has worked as a production designer on Boy Kills World, Viking Wolf, Tutankhamun, Shepherds and Butchers, and Lost Boys: The Thirst.

In advertising, Berg has designed high-profile campaigns, including Super Bowl commercials for Coors and Toyota. He has worked with leading commercial directors such as Alaska, Marcus Ibanez, Daniel Warwick, Hiro Murai, Dan DiFelice, Tarsem, Laerke Herthoni, The Sacred Egg, and Andreas Nilsson.
